• Position the unit on a firm, level surface that is free from vibration.

• Position the unit so that there is adequate space around it for proper

cooling and ventilation. Consult the product documentation for

spacing information.

• Do not position the unit in an environment where there is oil,

solvents, gasoline, paint thinners, or insecticides on or near the unit.

Vapors from these chemicals can damage system components.

Quantum Safety Information

Quantum clearly distinguishes safety issues from all other product issues.

Safety issues affect the health or life of the operator. They are not data

integrity issues. If the unit operates incorrectly, even though you are

following the operating instructions exactly, disconnect it from all power

sources and contact Technical Support.
